WICHITA - Jets wrestling returned to Fugate on Friday night to open up MIAA conference action against the #3 nationally ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos. Newman came into the match off a recent hot streak with one champion and multiple placers in their last two tournaments.

Facing their toughest opponents of the season so far, Newman dropped the dual by a score of 45-6. Two open weight spots and a lost match due to injury hampered the Jets against an already strong #3 ranked Bronchos team.

The Jets got their six points on the night from a win by fall (5:42) from Jevin Foust. Foust has been steadily improving over the course of the season, adding this win onto two placements in the last two tournaments that the Jets have participated in. 

Newman will go right back into action this Sunday, December 11th when they'll look to get back on track as they participate in the Bob Smith Open in Hays, Kansas. Full match results from the night can be found below.
