WICHITA – Newman found themselves on the wrong side of history as Pitt State righty, Paul Panduro had a performance of a lifetime Friday afternoon. The Jets were no hit and sent back to the dugout a record 16 times. PSU secured the series win with their 9-0 victory.

The Jets drop to 22-20 (12-17 MIAA) with the fruitless day at the dish. Pitt State is now 25-17 (19-10 MIAA) with the series win in hand.
Panduro's day earned himself the first nine inning no-no in Gorilla history. The Jets got base runners off of three walks sprinkled between 16 strikeouts.

Nate Denniston falls to 5-6 on the year as he allowed nine runs, seven earned, on nine hits. In 4.2 innings Denniston struck out five.
The bullpen for the Jets allowed just one hit while striking out 5 over the final 4.1 innings.
Jaret Granger had 4 of those punch outs in just 2.1 innings of work.
