Jets had seven shots in the first half, but struggled in second half

HAYS, KS. - Women's Soccer sunk to their second stright loss, coming against in state rival Fort Hays State. Although it was a loss, Newman made it diifuclt for the Tigers to score.

The Jets had two shots from Cassie Moeder and Makenzie Shay early in the half, with the Tiger goal keeper being forced to make several saves. Another two shots from Maylani Birckbickler troubled the Tigers, as it appeared the Jets would be the first team to make the breakthrough.

The Tigers would turn the tables on Newman, controlling possession and threatining to score several times at the beginning of the half.

Fort Hays would finally break through in the 64th minute, and would add another less than 10 minutes later.
