WICHITA- The Jets hosted Nebraska-Kearney for a Friday night MIAA match up.
- In the first half, the Lopers found the back of the net at the 28th minute mark due to a penalty kick being awarded to Nebraska-Kearney. The Jets responded just four minutes later when
Makenzie Shay found the back of the net off of an assist from
Kinsey Logan. Before halftime, the Lopers were able to add another goal from Corryne Olsen in the 49th minute. The Jets went into halftime down 2-1.
-In the second half the Jets bounced back with a goal from
Maylani Birckbichler who was assisted by
Natalia Gonzalez in the 69th minute. With this goal, the Jets tied the game at 2-2 with a little over 20 minutes to play. However, in the 75th minute the Lopers were able to connect again with a goal by Hannah Schimmer. This goal would be enough for the Lopers to come out on top.
- The Lopers out shot the Jets 23-16.
- The Jets fell, 3-2.
