WICHITA- The Jets finished up their weekend of competition against the No. 25 ranked Central Missouri squad. On Friday, the Jennies hosted Central Oklahoma where they took the match 3-0. For the Jets on Friday, they traveled to Pittsburg State and fell short at 3-0. This time out, the Jets dropped the match to Central Missouri, 7-0. 

How It Happened:
- The Jennies held the ball in their attacking third for the majority of the first half. In the first minute of play, the Jennies found the back of the net with a goal by Molly Ricker. Izzy Joyce was the next goal scorer for the Jennies in the 8th minute and 10th minute to secure herself a brace and make the Jennies lead 3-0. In the 15th minute the Jennies scored again with a goal by Anna Lack. Then in the 23rd and 25th minute, Central Missouri extended their lead with two goals to make it 6-0. In the first half Newman was out shot 21-0. The Jets went into halftime down, 6-0. 
- In the 49th minute, Ava Lunders of Central Missouri connected for the first goal of the second half to make the game 7-0 in favor of the Jennies. In the second half, the Jets recorded two shots with one on goal, but couldn't connect to cut the Jennies lead. The Jets held the Jennies to 11 second half shots. Central Missouri took the match 7-0.

Player Notes:
- Morgan Todd recorded the Jets sole shot on goal.
- Emma Lintecum tallied six saves, allowing just one goal in 45 minutes played. 
- Izzy Joyce recorded a brace for the Jennies with two first half goals while adding one assist in just 16 minutes played. 

The Jets are set to host Rogers State and Northeastern State next weekend.
