Last Time Out
The Jets started out conference play against two tough opponents. They first traveled to Emporia State where they dropped the matchup, 2-0 after the Hornets found two goals in the first half. The Jets then traveled up the Turnpike to face the No. 21 ranked Ichabods. Two second half goals allowed the Ichabods to secure the 3-0 win over the Jets.

Scouting the Jets 
-Carla Apodaca leads the Jets in goalkeeper minutes. Through eight seven games played, she has recorded 34 saves which leads the Jets.
-Marta Aranda, Lexi Bauer, and Katrina Kowitz are the Jets goal scorers through the first eight games.
-Allison Hernandez leads the Jets with 2 assists, Natalia Gonzalez adds one assist. 
 
Behind Enemy Lines
Missouri Western is currently on a six game win streak. The Griffons have not dropped a match up yet this season and have only recorded one tie with Northern State in non-conference play. As a team, the Griffons have scored 18 goals, with a 2.25 goals per game average. Lauren Nylund currently leads the Griffons with five goals through their first eight games. Kendall Knisley has tallied two goals and three assists this season. 
 
Northwest Missouri matched up with Missouri Western and Northeastern State to begin their MIAA slate. Against Missouri Western, they scored two goals but those goals weren't enough to overcome the Griffons three goals. The Bearcats found a win against Northeastern State with a 2-1 game. Ekaterina Theoharidis leads the Bearcats with four goals along with two assists. Ximena Arnau has connected on three goals so far this season.

The Jets and Griffons have met up six times. The Jets have won one of those match ups and tied twice. Last season, the Griffons beat the Jets 2-1.

Newman and Northwest Missouri have met up nine times. The Jets have won two of the match ups and tied once. Last season, the Bearcats beat the Jets 5-0.
