KEARNEY, Neb.-  The Jets finished up their road game stint against Nebraska Kearney. The Lopers are currently ranked No. 5 in Division II. Against the Lopers, the Jets fell three sets to zero.

How it Happened:
- The Lopers were able to take the first lead of set one with an 8-0 run. A kill by Natalie Meyer stopped the Lopers' run. After this kill by Meyer, the Jets closed the gap to 10-5. The Lopers extended their lead to 16-10. The Jets continued to battle to close the gap. Nebraska Kearney had the lead at 22-14, but then the Jets made one final push with kills by Natalie Meyer and Hannah Tymitz to close the game to 24-18, but ran out of time. The Jets dropped set one, 25-18.

- The Jets allowed the Lopers to jump to another large lead to start the second set at 8-3. The Jets battled back with kills by Meyer and Ozioma Ajekwu to make the score 13-7. After this mark, the Lopers were able to put another run together to extend their lead to 21-10. The Jets battled back with a run of their own. During this run, McKenna Rhodes allied three kills to help close the gap to 15-21. After this run, the Lopers didn't allow the Jets to score again. The Lopers took set two, 25-15.

- To start the third set, Tymitz and Meyer recorded kills to take the lead at 2-0. The Lopers were able to string some points together to take the lead at 8-4. An attacking error by the Lopers and a Silvia Fisher kill for the Jets helped cut the deficit to 9-6. The Jets kept battling to stay in the match, more errors from the Lopers and kills by Rhodes and Tymitz led the Jets to a 14-12 game, still in favor of the Lopers. The Jets were finally able to tie the game at 16 all with another kill by Fisher. The Lopers pushed their lead to 19-16 until a Rhodes kill stopped the run and kept it a two point game. However, the talented Loper team pushed forward again to take the set, 25-18.
