INDIANAPOLIS Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced the entirety of its academic honors over the last week. Newman Women's Bowling received high honors with both team and individual successes off the lanes.
The 2023-24 Team Academic All-Conference Award recognizes each team from full-time and associate member institutions that have maintained a 3.30 grade point average for the academic year. The Women's Bowling team posted a 3.53 team GPA, joining 181 other individual teams in the GLVC to receive the honor. Read the full GLVC release

Team success is built upon the success of a group of individuals. The Academic All-GLVC honor is bestowed upon student-athletes who meet a cumulative GPA of 3.30 over two semesters of an academic year at the institution. The GLVC Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award is presented annually to student-athletes competing in GLVC-sponsored sports who achieve a 4.0 grade point average during the academic year. Freshman
Tallie Scott was honored along with a record number of 584 GLVC student-athletes from 14 full member and three associate member schools.
