ST. LOUIS, Mo- The Jets traveled to Missouri to take on GLVC opponent, the UMSL Tritons. The Jets are coming off a tie against Southwest Baptist which featured two goals from the Jets.
How It Happened:
- The Tritons started the first half with two quick goals by Josie Maddox (12') and Jaycee Cotton (15").
- UMSL scored two more goals in the first half, taking the lead 4-0 going into the half.
- In the second half the Jets defense only allowed one goal, and put up 5 saves.Â
- The Jets had a shot on goal in the second half by Marta Aranda, but could not connect with the back of the net.
- The Tritons out shot the Jets, 12-1 (on goal).
- UMSL took the game, 5-0.

Player Notes:
-Freshman, Emma Lintecum recorded her first minutes as a Jet. Lintecum played in 45 minutes of action, faced 9 shots, recorded 5 saves, and gave up one goal.
The Jets are back at home on Saturday for Senior Day against Oklahoma Christian at 1:30 PM.
