Lakewood, Colo.- Newman showcased a very powerful offense and an overall great team game in their 4-0 win over the Saint Martin Saints on Friday afternoon. The Jets were coming off of a fought 2-1 win against Colorado Christian in the last non-conference home game of the season, and were looking to continue the positive momentum going into their first Colorado match.
How It Happened:

- The second half started with the Jets scoring an early goal. Nicolo Lai assisted Mario De Roque Zazon in the second minute of the half to make it 3-0 for Newman.Â
- After the third goal, Newman completely controlled the game adding a total of ten shots and not allowing the Saints to have any attempts in the half.Â
- In the 67th minute, Newman was awarded a penalty kick. Gustavo Dias Juliani, who led the Jets with four shots and two on goal, was chosen to take the penalty. Getting past the goalkeeper, Juliani scored his first official goal as a Jet and the fourth of the game, leaving a final 4-0 score.Â
