Last Time Out
Last week, the Jets faced a ranked Pittsburg State team (No.12/13). Against the Gorillas, the Jets fell 50-77. Against the Gorillas, Jaeden McMillin led with 12 points and went 5-11 from the field and 100% from the three-point line. The Jets then hosted Missouri Southern. Against the Lions, a second half comeback secured the Jets first conference win. In the third quarter, the Jets outscored the Lions 26-7, helping secure the win. Valeriya Lioukina led the Jets with 19 points against MSSU. McMillin added 13 points and Paige Craft scored 12 points. 

Scouting the Jets 
McMillin is leading the Jets in scoring (12.4 ppg) , rebounding (5.7 rpg), and steals (17). Lioukina and Paige Craft are both averaging 8.3 points per game. Lioukina is also adding 5.5 rebounds per game. In conference play, Lioukina, Craft and McMillin are all averaging over nine points and will look to add onto those averages this weekend. Four Jets (Craft, McMillin, Lioukina, and Layla Pierce) are over the 100 point mark on the season, through 15 games played.  As a team, the Jets are averaging 60.2 points per game and shooting 35.9% from the field. The Jets are also averaging 11.9 assists per game, which is more than their opponents are averaging (10.3 rpg). 

Behind Enemy Lines
The Jennies are currently 9-8 on the season and 1-5 in conference play. The Jennies are currently on a three game losing streak after facing Emporia State, Northwest Missouri and Missouri Western.  The Jennies are averaging 67.8 points per game while shooting 43%  from the field and just 31.7% from behind the arc. Reese Schaaf is leading the Jennies with 18.4 points per game with 52.8% shooting percentage from the field. Schaaf is also leading the Jennies in rebounds with 9.3 per game. Lauren Frost and Taylor Weishaar are both averaging over ten points per game. 

Washburn is currently 8-8 on the season and 2-4 in conference. Their two conference wins came against Emporia State and Missouri Western. Their last conference game was against Northwest Missouri State where they lost in overtime. The Ichabods will face Emporia State on Wednesday, January 15th before facing the Jets on Saturday. The Ichabods are averaging 74.6 points per game while shooting 45% from the field and 30% from behind the arc. Three Ichabods are averaging above ten points per game. Yiibari Nwidadah leads the Ichabods with 16.6 points per game while also leading with 7.5 rebounds per game. Payton Sterk averages 15.3 points per game and currently leads with 38 total assists on the year. Gabi Gionvannetti averages 10.9 points per game and shoots just under 40% from the field. 

The Series
- The Jets have faced the Jennies six times, and are still looking for their first win against UCM.
- The Jets are 4-7 against the Ichabods, with the last match-up going to the Ichabods. 

Next Up
The Jets will return home for a four-game home stand starting off with Arkansas-Fort Smith on January 23rd. They will then host Northeastern State on January 25th.
