Warrensburg, Mo. - Jets' volleyball closed out their weekend against No. 24 Central Missouri in a match the Jennies won 3-0.
How it Happened:
The Jets started the match with early energy. Sky Miller and Hannah Tymitz combined for several kills, while Isabella Lamb added key swings to keep Newman competitive early. Central Missouri pulled away late, taking the opening set 25-14.
Newman stayed aggressive in set two, keeping the score close early. Tymitz and Miller led at the net, while Avery Kelley and Lamb added timely kills to keep the Jets within striking distance. The Jennies grabbed momentum late to take the set 25-12.
The Jets came out strong in the third set, staying within striking distance with kills from Tymitz and Miller, and Josie Weers adding key swings. Central Missouri pulled away late in the set, taking it 25-14 and completing the 3-0 sweep. UCM utilized 13 service aces throughout the match to keep consistent pressure on the Jets.
