Last Time Out
The Jets traveled to take on the nation's 6th-ranked Fort Hays State Tigers, falling 4–0 in a hard-fought road match up. Fort Hays State struck early, taking a 1–0 lead just three minutes into the match on a goal from Oumar Ndiaye. The Jets responded with a pair of attempts to equalize, but the Tigers doubled their advantage in the 33rd minute when Bastian Carlman found the back of the net. 
Gibran Villalobos tested the Tigers' keeper late in the half, but Fort Hays held firm to take a 2–0 lead into the break. Carlman added his second goal of the match 12 minutes into the second half, extending the Tigers' lead to 3–0. Fort Hays capped the scoring in the 72nd minute. Despite late opportunities for both sides, the Jets were unable to break through, and the match ended 4–0 in favor of the Tigers.
Scouting the Jets 
The Jets are off to a 2-2-2 record in conference so far. Newman has defeated Northeastern State and Ouachita Baptist, and tied Harding and Southern Nazarene. 
Gabriel Dias Juliani leads the Jets with seven goals on the season. In the GAC, Gabriel is fifth in shots, second in goals, second in game winning goals and third in points.  He has also recorded three assists for a total of 17 points. 
Eduardo Dos Santos and 
Gustavo Dias Juliani have both recorded six assists for eight points a piece. 
Yohsuke Ono is second in points on the year, with three assists and three goals. 
Francisco Pinochet has recorded 44 saves on the year, putting up a 4-3-4 record in goal. 
Behind Enemy Lines
The Hillcats are coming off a win against Northeastern State and a tie against Ouachita Baptist last week. Against the Riverhawks, the Hillcats found one goal to take the game 1-0. Then, against the Tigers the score was 1-1 after 90 minutes of play. The Hillcats have posted a 5-1-1 record through conference play so far. The Jets and Hillcats faced off back in October where the Hillcats took the game, 3-1. When the Jets last faced the Hillcats, they were the eighth ranked team in the country. As a team, the Hillcats are ranked fourth in points, goals, and assists. Brandon O'Rourke leads the team with four total goals on the season, while adding two assists. Louis Bassett leads the team with four assists, for a total of six points on the season. On the defensive end, Jaxon Kendall has recorded 40 saves with nine wins, 1 loss, and three ties along with seven shut outs. His save percentage is .816. 
The Crimson Storm are coming off of a loss and win last weekend. They first faced No. 15 Rogers State where they dropped the match 3-1. Then, they faced Harding where they took a 4-2 win. The Jets last faced the Crimson Storm on October 2nd when the team was receiving votes for the top 25, where they tied 1-1. Junior Duran, Tiago Moreira, and Kaden Slaven lead the way with three goals a piece for the team. Lucas Beja, Bekir Lekic, Mourad Siaka all recorded two assists a piece. On the defensive side, Aimar Aramendia has tallied 37 saves with a .698 save percentage. 
The Series
The last matchup went in favor of the Hillcats, 3-1 back in October of this year. In that game, neither team managed to find the back of the net until the 28th minute, when the Hillcats broke through to take a 1-0 lead over the Jets. Rogers State doubled its advantage 12 minutes later on a penalty kick, extending the lead to 2-0. The Jets' 
Gabriel Dias Juliani had a chance to cut into the deficit late in the first half, but his shot was stopped by the Hillcat goalkeeper. The Hillcats added another goal just six minutes into the second half to go up 3-0. The Jets quickly responded as 
Gregoire Henri found the net moments later, trimming the deficit to two. 
Daiki Okada nearly pulled the Jets closer with a shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the Hillcat goalkeeper came up with another save. Both sides created chances in the closing minutes, but the score remained 3-1 when the final whistle sounded.
The last match up was a 1-1 draw. The first half was evenly contested. The Jets took three shots, while Southern Nazarene had four. SNU managed one shot on goal, but Newman goalkeeper 
Francisco Pinochet came up with the save to keep the match scoreless. Both teams earned one corner kick in the half but were unable to capitalize. Yoshuke Ono recorded two of the Jets three shots in the opening period, and the teams entered halftime locked at 0-0. The Jets struck first after the break. In the 61st minute, 
Gabriel Dias Juliani found the back of the net to give Newman a 1-0 lead. The Jets defense held strong for much of the second half, but in the 89th minute, SNU's Junior Duran scored the equalizer, tying the match at 1-1. Neither team could break the deadlock in the final moments. 
Next Up
The Jets will hit the road next week to Arkansas  to face Harding and Ouachita Baptist.
