The Jets traveled to Fort Smith, Arkansas, to face UAFS. After losing the first set 25-22, the Jets would rally in the second set. Battling back and forth, the longest runs both teams put together would be four points apiece. A kill by
Isabella Lamb and a Lion service error would conclude the second set, with the Jets taking the set 27-25. Continuing their momentum into the third set, the Jets would go on a 5-point run led by
Sky Miller. Newman took the third set 25-18. After taking a 14-8 lead, the Jets were able to hold off the Lions and extend their lead out to 18-9. The Lions fought back, but the Jets were able to hold them off and take the final set of the game, 25-18.

Missouri Southern State enters this week coming off losses to Northwest Missouri State 3-1 and Missouri Southern State 3-1. The Lions offense is led by Alana Moesch, who paces the team with 337 kills on the season. Moesch leads the conference in kills and total points for this season. Setter Hannah Allick directs the attack with 513 assists. On the defensive end, Tori Hamilton anchors the back row with 362 digs, while Fernanda Merancio has been a steady force at the net with 48 blocks.
