Last Time Out
The Jets hosted Southern Nazarene for a non-conference midweek match up. The Jets were able to take the win in extra innings with a final score of  15-14 through ten innings. In the game, Pierson Gunnell went 3-4 with two doubles, a home run, and two runs batted in. Louis Coca hit 2-4 with two doubles, scoring four runs and batting two in. Zac Becker went a perfect 3-3 from the plate with two RBIs. Blake Mitchell added three hits, two runs, and two RBIs. Andrew Hudson earned his first win of the season on the mound. The Jets will look to continue this impressive offensive showing against Missouri Western for the weekend series. 

Scouting the Jets 
The Jets are 6-13 overall, 2-8 in conference. Last weekend in conference play, the Jets stole game two from Rogers State with an 11-6 win. The Hillcats took game one and game three to take the series. Through conference play, Jack Kiser leads the team with a .385 batting average, with ten hits on 26 at bats. Eli Wohl leads the Jets with 15 hits on 41 at bats, recording seven RBIs. Hunter Brown and Micah Kobuszewski lead the Jets through conference with eight RBIs at piece. In conference on the mound, Kellen Curtis leads with a 3.37 ERA with four appearances. Colby Wilson is 1-1 in conference with 15.1 innings pitched.

Behind Enemy Lines
The Griffons are 2-16 overall with a 1-8 record in conference play. The Griffons found their first win against Harding in the first weekend of play. The Griffons picked up their only conference win against Northeastern State last weekend with a final score of 13-11. Through conference play, Blake Venneman leads the Griffons with a .414 batting average with 12 hits. Quinn Gundelfinger leads the way with 9 RBIs through MIAA play with two home runs, two doubles, and 11 hits. On the mound, Gunnar Nartker has pitched 14.2 innings with an ERA of 3.68. Jacob Ross earned the sole conference win on the mound and has totaled a 5.06 ERA through four appearances and five innings pitched. 

The Series
The Jets lead the series with a 7-6 record. The Jets took the series win last season with a 6-5 win in game one and an 11-1 win in game three.

Next Up
The Jets will host MSSU for a midweek conference game on Tuesday then hit the road for their next conference game against Emporia State next weekend.
