FORT SMITH, Ark- The Jets finished up their three games series today against the Lions with an 8-6 win where they scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to secure the win. 

How it Happened:
- Jets got off to a hot start, scoring four unanswered runs in the first two innings. A double by Micah Kobuszewski batted in the Jets first run. Eli Wohl singled in the second inning to score the Jets third run. Then Nicolas Chasey added a double to score the fourth run for the Jets. This made it a 4-0 Jets lead heading into the bottom of the second. 
- Arkansas-Fort Smith then was able to put up six unanswered runs to take the 6-4 lead in the fifth inning. The Lions added four runs in the second inning, one in the fourth, and one in the bottom of the fifth. The Jets bats got going again in the top of the seventh. With runners on, Louis Coca reached on a fielder's choice hitting a run in and another run scoring on the sam eplay, due to a Lions error. This tied the game at 6-6. In the top of the ninth inning, Eli Wohl singled to center field that scored two more runs for the Jets to take the 8-6 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. The Jets defense held strong in the bottom of the final inning, retiring all three batters to take the win. The Jets took the win 8-6. Colby Wilson pitched the final three innings for the Jets, where he faced 12 batters, struck out three, and allowed just one hit to earn the win on the mound. 

Player Notes:
- Wohl went 3-6 with three RBIs.
- Chasey added two hits, two doubles and one RBI.
- Kobuszewski went 2-4 with one RBI, one double, and one triple.
- Ely went a perfect 3-3 from the plate, scoring twice.
- Wilson earned the win on the mound, allowing just one hit through three innings pitched. 

The Jets stay on the road for a midweek contest against Missouri Southern on Tuesday.
