Last Time Out
The Jets faced Pittsburg State last weekend, followed by a non-conference matchup against the Wichita State Shockers. Against Pitt State, the Jets played a closely contested game one. The Gorillas were able to take the first games, 6-4.

Louis Coca all brought in two hits in game one. The Gorillas offense was strong in game two, taking the game at 15-4. Trammell led the Jets offense going 2-3 from the plate in the game.
Thomas Munn and Trammell brought in two RBIs a piece. Then in game three, the Gorillas were able to take the sweep with a 5-1 win. In game three,
Anthony Cannavino had the Jets sole RBI with a home run, his first of the season. The Jets then traveled to face Wichita State where the shockers took the ICT exhibition at 14-2.
Blake Mitchell led the Jets offense against the Shocker's going 2-3 from the plate and scored once. Mun had the Jets sole RBI in the game.Â

The Bearcats are coming off of a weekend series against Northeastern State where they took game one 14-2, lost game two 7-10, and won the series with a 10-0 run rule in game three. The Bearcats then hosted Missouri Western on Wednesday, where they were run ruled in seven innings with a final score of 12-2. Dylan Hufft leads the Bearcats in batting average with .352 with 50 hits, nine doubles, three triples, and 34 RBIs. Kaehukai Young leads the Bearcats with 43 total RBIs through 34 games played while also leading the team with seven home runs on the season. Ryan Williams has brought in 43 hits, with 13 doubles, 41 RBIs, and five home runs. On the mound, Ben Haug leads the Bearcats with 46.1 innings pitched with nine appearances. Haug has also struck out 44 batters, which leads the team in that category. Jaren Guck has pitched a total of 30 innings, with one win and a 4.50 ERA. Logan Brasel leads NW with four total wins and no losses through 11 appearances with an ERA of 3.14 and 31 strikeouts.Â
The Series
The Jets lead the series against the Bearcats with eight wins and six losses. Last season, the Jets swept the Bearcats with a 7-5 win in game one, 12-11 win in game two, and closed out the series with a 13-7 victory in game three.Â
