GREENWOOD, Ind.- Pierson Gunnell, Blake Mitchell and Eli Wohl were named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball Team. Academic All-District® is selected by College Sports Communicators to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Pierson Gunnell appeared in 35 games where he started 32. Gunnell recorded 28 hits, 19 RBIs, four home runs, eight doubles with a .255 batting average. The senior tallied 205 put outs with a fielding percentage of .982. 

Blake Mitchell started and appeared in 45 games. Mitchell recorded a .316 batting average, 32 runs scored, 55 hits, 14 doubles, nine home runs, and 54 RBIs. In the field, Mitchell tallied 133 put outs with 12 assists for a .987 fielding percentage. Mitchell finished eighth in the MIAA in fielding percentage and ninth in RBIs. Mitchell earned a spot on All-MIAA Honorable Mention this season, his second season in a row earning this honor.

Eli Wohl  started in 45 games and appeared in 46. Wohl tallied a .333 batting average, 35 runs scored, 58 hits, 12 doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 28 RBIs. In the field, Wohl recorded 141 putouts, with four assists for a .986 fielding percentage. Wohl earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention this season.
