RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.- The Great American Conference announces its player of the week awards for Men's Soccer. Yohsuke Ono earned Offensive Player of the Week for week two. 

Through the Jets two contests this week, Ono tallied two goals, two assists, and six shots throughout 149 minutes played. In the Jets first game against William Jewell, Ono scored the opening goal in the 13th minute. This goal gave the Jets the 1-0 lead. Ono would later be credited an assist for Daichi Saito's goal in the 73rd minute to take the 3-1 lead. Then, to close the game out, Ono would be credited with his second assist in the 80th minute to Joshua Okorodudu to take the win 4-1. In the Jets draw against No. 24 Midwestern State Ono found the back of the net in the 14th minute to give Newman the 2-0 lead. 

Ono and the Jets return to play on Saturday in Hays, Kansas where they will match up against Lubbock Christian.
