JOPLIN, Mo.- The Jets traveled to Missouri to compete in the 36th annual Southern Stampede. 

Women's Cross Country: 16th Place 

Nayelly Rosales led the Jets with a 65th place finish and a time of 19:35.46. Teressa Martinez was the next Jet across the finish line, coming in 125th place with a time of 20:56.06. Laura Davis and Britton Kelly were the next two Jets to finish, taking 143rd place and 148th place, just four seconds difference between the two. Anna Lobmeyer rounded out the Jets top five finishers, placing 171st in 22:21.34. The Jets would finish with 551 points for a 16th place finish.

Men's Cross Country: 15th Place

Newman was paced by Timothy Kiprotich, who led the Jets with a 25th-place finish in 25:06.80. He was followed by Jake Beauchamp in 45th at 25:31.72. Logan Libel brought in a 135th place finish, who was followed by Reagan Longei in 142nd place. Josias Chavez Ramirez brought in a time of 28:33.26 for 179th place to round out the top five finishers for the Jets.
