Hays, KS – Men's Soccer traveled to Hays to take on Lubbock Christian, battling to a 0-0 draw.


How it Happened:
The Jets and Chaparrals played a tight first half, with Newman recording five shots to LCU's seven. The Chaps earned the only corner of the half, but neither side found the net as the teams went into the break scoreless.

LCU pushed forward in the second half, forcing a save from Francisco Pinochet in the 68th minute to keep the match level. Just a minute later, Gabriel Dias Juliani put a shot on target, but the Chaparrals' keeper was there to deny him. Despite chances on both ends, neither team could find the breakthrough as the match finished 0-0.

The Jets return home Monday afternoon to host the University of Jamestown.
