WICHITA- The Jets competed at the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri. Women's Cross Country brought in an 18th place finish and Men's Cross Country brought in a 13th place finish.

Women's Cross Country:
Nayelly Rosales led Newman with a 73rd-place finish in 23:54. She was followed by Britton Kelly in 137th (25:19), Laura Davis in 179th (26:48), and Teressa Martinez in 184th (26:54). Rounding out the Jets were Isabella Torres (195th, 27:43), Anna Lobmeyer (201st, 27:56), Ilese Burroughs (206th, 28:57), Lexi Wimberly (222nd, 30:07), Anna Corbett (228th, 31:34), and Nickole Newingham (237th, 39:23).

Timothy Kiprotich led the way, finishing 38th in 26:01.2, followed by Jake Beauchamp in 58th at 26:24.9. Reagan Longei was 167th in 28:26.1, Logan Libel 182nd in 28:53.9, and Josias Chavez Ramirez 184th in 29:07.9. Paul Sevart closed out the scoring for Newman, finishing 218th in 31:19.0.
