TAHLEQUAH, Ok- The Jets traveled to Tahlequah for a Friday night match-up against Northeastern State. The RiverHawks took the game 104-62.
How it Happened:
- The Jets kicked off the game with two made free throws by Cyrus Shaw. NSU would fire back with seven quick points. Northeastern would stay strong, continuing to extend their lead. Kobe Freeman and Jacob Joe both had three-pointers for the Jets. Joe led the Jets in the first half with seven points and five rebounds. At the end of the first half, the Jets would trail 30-63.
- Shaw would start the half off for the Jets with a layup, and Sam Somerhalder would follow quickly with another layup. Following a Terrell Wright defensive rebound, Jordan Glen-Hawkins would sink a three-pointer. Syris Williams would score nine points for the Jets in the second half. The Jets would fall to NSU 104-62.
Player Notes:
- Wright had 11 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks for the Jets.
- Williams scored 11 points, going 4-5 at the free-throw line.
- Somerhalder had 10 points and four rebounds.
- Joe and Shaw shot 2-2 at the free-throw line.
The Jets stay on the road to face Central Oklahoma on Wednesday and Rogers State on Saturday.
