WICHITA- The Jets hosted NWOSU for a Tuesday afternoon matchup. The Jets faced NWOSU on the road back on February 3rd where they defeated the Rangers, 8-5 in ten innings. This time out against the Rangers, the Jets fell 14-3.

How it Happened:
- The Rangers scored three in the first inning, followed by three more in the top of the second inning to take the early 6-0 lead over the Jets. Through three, the Rangers pitcher Nathan Nunez held the Jets to no hits, with five strikeouts recorded.
- The Rangers pushed one more across the plate in the top of the fourth to extend their lead to 7-0. In the bottom half of the inning, Justin Birch hit a solo home run to left field to score the Jets first run. Kaynan Kaku followed this up, earning a hit by pitch and an error on the Rangers defense to put Kaku at second. Anthony Cannavino then connected with a single to move Kaku to third, putting runners on first and third with no outs. A wild pitch from Nunez allowed Kaku to score the Jets second run. At the end of four innings, the Rangers led the Jets 7-2.
