ST.JOSEPH, Mo.-The Jets traveled to St. Joseph, Missouri for a weekend series against Missouri Western. The Griffons would take game two and secure the series, 12-2.
How it Happened:

Nicolas Ely led the Jets off with a single to center field in the first inning.
Peyton Mitchell would record another center field hit for the Jets. The Griffons would hold the Jets on base in the top of the first.
-Missouri Western opened the scoring in the second inning. The Griffons drove in the first run on a fielder's choice bunt, and then added more on a catcher's error from Newman that brought in two more runs. The Griffons would take the lead 4-0 after the second. .
-Newman responded in the third inning with a solo home run by
Nicolas Ely to put them on the board.
Kaynan Kaku recorded a hit for the Jets, singling to right field.
Peyton Mitchell added a sacrifice RBI to score
Collin Morris, who was walked, and cut the deficit to 4-2.
-Missouri Western answered by adding a run in the 4th on a wild pitch, then broke the game open in the sixth inning with five runs to push the lead to 10-2. The Griffons continued to hold the Jets and score two more runs to take the game in seven innings. The Griffons would secure the series against the Jets and take game two, 12-2.
