The Jets traveled to St. Joseph, Missouri for a weekend series against the Griffons. The Griffons would take the conference series (15-1, 12-2, 20-3). They continued on the road for a midweek contest against Missouri Southern in Joplin, Missouri. The Jets fell to the Lions, 22-9 through seven innings.

In game one against Missouri, Anthony Cannavino recorded Newman's first hit with a single in the first inning. Missouri Western opened the scoring with solo home runs in the first and second, then added three runs in the third to take a 5-0 lead. Newman answered in the fourth with an RBI single from Collin Morris, scoring Thomas Munn. The Griffons quickly responded with a run on a wild pitch and a three-run homer, then added one run in the fifth and five in the sixth to secure a 15-1 win through seven innings.

Nicolas Ely opened game two with a single to center, and Peyton Mitchell followed with another hit, but Missouri Western stranded both runners in the first inning. The Griffons struck first in the second, scoring on a fielder's choice bunt and adding two more runs on a Newman catcher's error to take a 4-0 lead. Newman responded in the third with a solo home run from Ely, and Peyton Mitchell later drove in Collin Morris with a sacrifice RBI to cut the deficit to 4-2. Missouri Western answered with a run on a wild pitch in the fourth and broke the game open with five runs in the sixth. The Griffons added two more runs and secured a 12-2 win in seven innings to clinch the series.

In the final game of the series against the Griffons, Missouri Western jumped out early, scoring five runs in the first and adding five more in the second to take a 10-0 lead, while holding Newman hitless through two innings. The Griffons continued to pull away with seven runs in the fourth, two in the fifth, and one in the sixth to extend the lead to 20-0. Newman recorded its first hits in the third and added a late push in the seventh, as Jordan Bundy reached on an error to score one run and Jackson Witt followed with a two-run double. Despite the rally, the Griffons secured a 20-3 win in seven innings.

In the midweek matchup against Missouri Southern, Nicolas Ely gave Newman an early boost with a leadoff home run, but Missouri Southern quickly answered with six runs to take the lead. The Jets added hits from Collin Morris, Louis Coca, and Colton Holland, cutting the deficit and staying within reach. Newman kept the pressure on, tying things up and eventually taking a 9-8 lead in the fifth after a big two-RBI double from Holland. However, Missouri Southern responded with a huge inning, scoring six runs to regain control. The Lions added eight more runs in the sixth. Newman was unable to respond, and the game ended after seven innings with a 22-9 final score.
