The RiverHawks pushed back through the middle of the half, but Guilherme Borges saved shots by Miguel Carrasquinho, Harry Tremblez and Carter Adams, and NU mixed in chances from Evan Butler and Vincent Edgell during that stretch. After Borges stopped Joshua Adeyemi at 36:23, the Jets put a late Io Shono shot on frame and had Kaisei Nagayoshi take the final attempt before the half ended scoreless.

The Jets opened the second half by earning a pair of early corners, and Borges kept the match scoreless when he saved Harry Tremblez's shot at 56:38. The next stretch included a Max Wetzel shot saved at 57:32, another NU corner, a Borges save on Joshua Adeyemi at 62:46, and later Jets attempts from Ailton Fagner Da Silva and Yohsuke Ono.
