The Rattlers are 10-13 this season, and have won their last four contests after a 3-2 win over Southern Arkansas Saturday in San Antonio. The Jets conclude their brief homestand with a meeting with the Texas A&M International Dustdevils Saturday afternoon at noon. TAMIU has struggled to a 1-19 record this season, picking up their first win in a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State Thursday in Laredo.

St. Mary's is led by Kirsten Chapman, a 5-11 junior with 202 kills to her name this season. While she is the only Rattler with more than 200 kills this season, five Rattlers have 130-or-more kills this season. Kori McCarver is the Hilltoppers' go-to setter with 707 assists this season, while Stephanie Flores is St. Mary's' leading defensive player with 324 digs this season.

Rattler head coach Jenny Warmack-Chipman is in her first year at St. Mary's.

Texas A&M International poses a triple threat on the front line. Jacquelynne Matula, a 5-11 sophomore, leads the 2010 Dustdevils with 143 kills, while Alexandria Montemayor is right behind her with 136 kills. Bianca Mares is the final piece of the TAMIU offensive puzzle, posting 131 kills this season. Brittany Faison is TAMIU's primary setter, with 400 assists through 20 matches. The Patriots use a team approach to defense, as four Dustdevils have 100-or-more digs. Faison leads all defensive players with 197 digs, while Montemayor owns 196 digs this season.

Dustdevil head coach Wendy McManus is in her seventh season at TAMIU, and is 47-75 in that time.
