Nathan Modesto's penalty kick at the 14:20 mark was good for Newman's only goal. Modesto finished with three shots and one shot on goal.

Robin Allard received his first loss of the season with four saves and two goals allowed.

th minute, Allard saved an uncontested shot by Abayneh Crosby to hold the Greyhounds from another goal.
-Newman had seven total shots and one corner kick while Eastern New Mexico had 18 shots and five corner kicks.
The Jets will continue home play Sunday, September 2 at 3 p.m. against the Rockhurst Hawks.
