Box Score GOODWELL, Okla. – The Newman volleyball team ran its winning streak to six-straight matches with a 3-1 (25-15, 25-22, 16-25, 25-20) victory at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Friday (Oct. 11) at Oscar Williams Fieldhouse. NU improved to 10-6 on the season and 5-4 in the Heartland Conference.
 
Jarin Braithwait led NU with 12 kills and an impressive hitting percentage of .632, a season high. Gaylynn Jones totaled a double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs. Tori Alderson finished with 12 digs. Lexi Kuharich led the Lady Jets with 22 assists.
 
NU returns home for three matches. The Lady Jets take on Cameron on Tuesday (Oct. 15) at 7 p.m. at Fugate Gymnasium.
