Box Score CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Newman men's soccer team ended its season on Saturday (Nov. 2) with a 2-0 loss at Rogers State at Soldier Field. The Jets end the season at 1-15-1 and 1-8 in the Heartland Conference.
 
Niall Masterson scored both of the goals for Rogers State. The game winner happened in the 29th minute for a 1-0 RSU lead. The Hillcats led 1-0 after the first 45 minutes.
 
RSU got its second goal late in the game in the 87th minute. Masterson scored his second goal for the 2-0 advantage.
 
The Hillcats totaled 16 shots to six from the Jets, including a 10-3 advantage in the second half. NU had one shot on goal.
 
Luca Anelli led NU with two shots, including the one shot on goal.
 
Robin Allard went the full 90 minutes in goal, allowing two goals and making four saves.
 
The Jet finished the 2013 season at 1-15-1 and 1-8 on the season. The Jets one win was a 3-2 victory against Texas-Permian Basin on Oct. 21.
