WICHITA – Winter weather has forced Newman baseball to make some changes to their schedule this week. Today's game against Emporia State has been canceled, and the Jets have picked up a game Wednesday (March 27) against Fort Hays State at 5 p.m. at McCarthy Field. The Heartland Conference series with St. Edward's has been moved back one day to Friday and Saturday (March 29-30).
 
The Jets and Tigers will play one nine-inning game on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at McCarthy Field in Wichita.
 
Newman and St. Edward's play Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Jets and Rattlers play a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. The series finishes up on Saturday with one nine-inning game at 1 p.m. All three games will be played at McCarthy Field.
 
The game scheduled for 5 p.m. today against Emporia State has been canceled.
