2014-15 Men's Basketball Schedule

WICHITA – A regular season matchup with Wichita State highlights the Newman men's basketball schedule for the 2014-15 season. The Jets take on the Shockers on Nov. 23 at Charles Koch Arena.
 
NU starts the season with two straight home games against MIAA and Kansas opponents. The season starts on Nov. 18 against Emporia State, and fellow MIAA member Washburn comes to Fugate Gymnasium on Nov. 20. Both contests are at 7 p.m.
 
The Jets then go to Wichita State on Nov. 23 for a 2 p.m. contest. The non-conference slate continues with two MIAA opponents in Fort Hays State and Pittsburg State. NU hosts FHSU on Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m., and the Jets travel to PSU on Dec. 2.
 
NU starts a four-game home stand with Manhattan Christian on Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. On Dec. 13 the Jets play William Jewell at 3 p.m. The Heartland Conference season starts on Dec. 18 with St. Edward's at 7:30 p.m. The four-game home stretch ends with Texas-Permian Basin on Dec. 20 at 3 p.m.
 
The Jets start the new year with a road game on Jan. 1, 2015 at Texas A&M International at 7:30 p.m. NU then goes to St. Mary's on Jan. 3 for a 3 p.m. tip-off.
 
Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma Panhandle State travel to Wichita the next week. The Jets take on LCU on Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and OPSU on Jan. 10 at 3 p.m.
 
Three of the next four games are on the road. A showdown at Oklahoma Christian is on Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. After a Monday home game against Dallas Baptist on Jan. 19 at 4 p.m., the Jets travel to Arkansas-Fort Smith and Rogers State. The contest at UAFS is Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m., and tip-off at RSU is set for 3 p.m. on Jan. 24.
 
The Jets return home for two Heartland Conference games. TAMIU comes to Wichita on Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m., and StMU travels to take on the Jets on Jan. 31 at 3 p.m.
 
NU goes to OPSU on Feb. 5 for a 7:30 p.m. contest, and then the Jets travel to LCU on Feb. 7 for a 3 p.m. game. The Jets welcome OC to Fugate Gymnasium on Feb. 12 and then make a road trip to DBU on Feb. 14 for a 3 p.m. game.
 
The home schedule ends with UAFS and RSU. The Lions take on the Jets on Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m., and Senior Day is Feb. 21 against RSU at 3 p.m.
 
The regular season slate concludes with two road contests. A game at UTPB on Feb. 26 starts the final stretch, and the regular season ends at SEU on Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.
 
The Heartland Conference Tournament is March 6-7 and is hosted by the Heartland Conference regular season champion.
