GOODWELL, Okla. – The Newman baseball team opens the 2015 season with three games at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 7-8) at Aggie Field. The Jets play both OPSU and Colorado Mines on Saturday and then take on OPSU again on Sunday. Live stats will be available for all three contests.
 
Game one of the weekend starts at 12 p.m. against Colorado Mines at Aggie Field. After the neutral site game, the Jets battle the host Aggies in a non-conference contest at 3 p.m.
 
The three-game weekend ends with OPSU on Sunday at 2 p.m. This game is also a non-conference showdown.
 
NU returns three All-Heartland Conference selections from the 2014 season, including Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year, Tyler Bugner. NU went 17-13 in the conference and 25-28 overall.
 
After this weekend, the Jets travel to Kingsville, Texas to take on Texas A&M-Kingsville in a three-game series. The series starts on Friday (Feb. 13) with a doubleheader at 3 p.m.
