WICHITA – The Newman baseball team's game against Washburn scheduled for tomorrow (March 3) has been canceled due to snow accumulation in the Wichita area.
 
The one nine-inning game was scheduled for 3 p.m. tomorrow at McCarthy Field. The game has been canceled with a makeup date to yet to be determined.
 
The Jets travel to Lubbock Christian this weekend to start the Heartland Conference schedule. The three-game series starts on Friday (March 6) at 4 p.m. with a doubleheader. One game will be played on Saturday (March 7) at 1 p.m.
 
NU will be home again on March 11 against Fort Hays State at 3 p.m.
