NOTES
-Midwestern State is currently ranked No. 11 in the nation and on a current eight-game winning streak since the last time they were beaten, which came against Newman on Sept. 25.
-The Jets have clinched a spot in the conference postseason but the seeding is still up in the air. The team can finish as high as second with two wins and some help. The likely landing spot for Newman is the fourth seed and a quarterfinal game at home on Tuesday, which it locks up with a single point this weekend.
-
Vitor Okamoto won the Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award this week for his two goals scored last week, which one was the game winning goal in the 89' minute against Texas A&M International last Saturday.
