WICHITA, Kan. — Getting back to action inside Fugate Gymnasium for the first time since mid-December, the No. 23 Newman wrestling team hosts No. 4 Nebraska-Kearney in an MIAA dual Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Jets (0-1, 0-1 MIAA) suffered a 32-13 loss to Central Missouri on Jan. 3 to start their dual season. That was the last competition they were in after weather forced them to withdraw from Saturday's Midwest Duals.

Nebraska-Kearney (12-4, 1-0 MIAA) went 4-0 at the Midwest Duals Saturday, outscoring opponents by a combined 135-34. Included in that was a 31-13 victory over California Baptist. The Lopers' four losses have come to a pair of Division I squads, as well as ranked DII sides Wisconsin-Parkside and McKendree.
