Jets Looking To Finish Season On A High Note

WICHITA, Kan. —The Newman Men's soccer team will have their last home game this week when they take on No.3 Midwestern State. Newman will also be on the road to finish up the season when they travel to Claremore, Oklahoma to take on Rogers State.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (4-8-4, 2-7-3 Heartland) are looking to finish on a high note after struggling this past week. The Jets lost two tough games first traveling to San Antonio Thursday to take on St. Mary's and losing 3-1, and then Saturday traveling to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International and losing that game in double overtime.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS

The Mustangs (14-0-2, 10-0-2 Heartland) are coming off a good weekend going 2-0 in both their games at home. First No. 16 St. Edward's came to town and this made for a physical and close game with the Mustangs taking it 1-0. Saturday the Patriots came to take on the Mustangs and this was another close game with the final score being 4-2.

SCOUTING THE HILLCATS

The Hillcats (6-7-3, 3-5-3 heartland) are coming off of a rough weekend going 0-2 on the road, first on Thursday the team traveled to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International and would lose that game 3-0 and then Saturday the Hillcats traveled to San Antonio to take on St. Mary's and would lose a close game 1-2.
