WICHITA, Kan. – After being on the road all last week, the Newman baseball team returns home for a midweek nonconference game to complete its home-and-home series against Northwestern Oklahoma State Tuesday evening.
 
The Jets (15-19) played at Northwestern Oklahoma State on Wednesday and took the game 5-3 on the road. Newman then traveled to Rogers State for its weekend Heartland Conference series but fell in all three-games to close out the week.
 
The Rangers (11-26) snapped their 10-game losing streak this past weekend by sweeping Southern Nazarene in their three-game conference series on the road in Bethany, Oklahoma.
