WICHITA, Kan. – The Newman baseball team hits the road for its final road Heartland Conference series to close out the regular season at Texas A&M International Friday and Saturday.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (18-28, 5-16 Heartland) completed their final home conference series of the regular season against St. Mary's at McCarthy Field last weekend. Newman however dropped the three-game series to the Rattlers. The Jets were supposed to take on Fort Hays State for a midweek nonconference game on Wednesday but due to playing conditions from the heavy rain the final home game of the season was canceled.
