DALLAS, Tex – The Newman men's and women's bowling teams competed Saturday (Oct. 13) at the SWIBC III in Fort Worth, TX and finished their trip on Sunday (Oct. 14) at the SWIBC IV in Dallas, TX.

On the women's side of things the Jets finished 4th as a squad on Saturday and finished 2nd on Sunday. Ashton Anderson finished 1st taking home the trophy on Sunday. Leanne Vastbinder finished just four spots behind Anderson wrapping up the day in 5th place. Both Anderson and Vastbinder's solid scores landed them on the all-tournament team.

The men's team had a very solid consistent performance on both days finishing each day in 2nd place as a team. Jake Provenzano earned his second straight all tourney team nod. Nathan Brantley was named to his first all-tournament team.

The Jets will host their lone home event Saturday (Oct. 20) and Sunday (Oct. 21) at the Midstates Championships. The men's tournament will be held at Northrock Lanes, while the women's tournament will be held at West Acres in Wichita, KS
