LAS VEGAS – The Newman University men's and women's bowling teams concluded the 2018 portion of the season with another strong performance. The two teams wrapped the Vegas week with two more top ten finishes in the Collegiate Shoot-Out.

On the women's side the Jets wrapped their Vegas trip with a fourth place finish knocking down a total of 8419 pins for a total combined point's score of 9939. The women's team has now finished inside the top 10 in seven of their eight tournaments this season.

After a ninth place finish earlier in the week, the men's team battled back strong in the Collegiate Shoot-Out walking away with a sixth place finish. The men scored a total of 10348 points, while knocking down a total of 8908 total pins. The men have finished in the top ten in six of their eight tournaments this season.

The bowling team will have a few weeks of rest before hitting the lanes on January, 12th-13th in the SWIBC V and VI in Plano, Tex.
