MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – Triathlon traveled to Maple Grove, Minnesota for the Maple Grove Triathlon at Weaver Lake Park. This was Triathlon's first race of the season.
 
Newman competed alongside nine other schools from six different statesIn the Women's Triathlon, Maggie Koenig finished in 3rd place with a time of 2:29:45.81. She was followed by another top 10 finish by Sam Holmes who placed 7th with a time of 2:45:05.28.
 
On the Men's Triathlon side, Asher Brown finished in 5th with a time of 2:09:02.94.
