IOWA CITY, IA- Triathlon traveled to Iowa City, Iowa for an indoor race hosted by the University of Iowa. This was Triathlon's first meet of 2023. 

The Jets put on a great showing in Iowa City. The meet had 44 participants on the men's side and 18 participants on the women's side. 

On the Men's side, Asher Brown took 2nd place with a time of 35:19. 

On the Women's side, 4 athletes placed in the top 10. Ashley Salgado, with a time of 41:15, placed 2nd. Sam Holmes, with a time of 45:20, took 4th. Margaret Koeing placed 5th with a time of 45:57 and Anna Corbett took 10th with a time of 48:20. 

Newman Triathlon is back in action February 13th in Madison, Wisconsin in the Winter Wonderland Tri.
