WICHITA – Newman Women's Soccer and Newman Volleyball have designated home games between September 30^th and October 10^th to benefit Giving the Basics Wichita. On these select home dates, a donation of basic hygiene products will serve as admission to athletic contests.

Giving the Basics Dignity Drive helps people from all walks of life and provide necessary items for self-care.

This year GTB Wichita is already serving 138 schools, 42 organizations, and 2 police departments and needs community help now more than ever. Giving the Basics Wichita has been distributing more product these past months to our local domestic violence shelters, transitional housing, homeless shelters, and food and hygiene pantries in efforts to get hygiene products into the hands of those who are going without. 

Barrels will be located at the entrances of Wilkins Field and Fugate Gymnasium during the drive. The Jets Women's Soccer team will be home Friday, September 30^th against Fort Hays State, Sunday, October 2^nd against Nebraska Kearney, Friday, October 7^th against Northwest Missouri State and Sunday, October 9^th against Missouri Western. Volleyball takes the court against Northwest Missouri State of Saturday, October 8^th in Fugate Gymnasium.
