KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA announced on Friday morning its 2023 Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll.

The defending champs, Central Missouri took the top spot after finishing last season 46-9 overall and 30-3 in the MIAA.

The Jets were voted 10th by the conference coaches after finishing last season 23-23 overall and 13-20 in the MIAA. Newman, led by
Drew Maus who is in his 4th season as head coach will look to build upon last season which posted the most wins since 2016.

Newman's 2023 season kicks off Friday, February 3rd when they travel to Bethany, Oklahoma to face Southern Nazarene.
