BETHANY, Ok. - The GAC/MIAA named it's all conference awards for men's soccer, with three Newman players being named to the conference's second team.

Alberto Romano and
Felix Tellez Ramirez and midfielder
Carlos Bellosta Manchon were named to the second team, following their impressive 2023 seasons.
Alberto Romano, a transfer coming into the program this year, scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in his debut season. Totaling 1243 minutes this season, he was the team's second leading goalscorer. His season highlight was providing all three assists to Bellosta Manchon in the Jets 3-1 win over Rockhurst.
Felix Tellez Ramirez scored 3 goals this season, while leading the team in assists with 7. He scored two goals on senior day against Ouachita Baptist in a 4-0 win.
Carlos Bellosta Manchon had one of the best seasons seen by the program in some time, scoring 10 goals this season, which equaled the record in the Jets Division II era. Scoring 2 hat tricks this season, the senior from Madrid, Spain was the team's leading scorer and provided an additional three assists.
The Jets finished the season with a 4-10-3 record, which was the best record that the program has had since 2019.
