LAST TIME OUT
Last time out the Jets traveled to Ada, Oklahoma to take on East Central. The Jets were unable to come away with a win. With a heartbreaking loss in game 1, 3-4 through 8 innings, and a loss in game two 0-5.

MEET YOUR COACHES
Andrea Gustafson is in her 4th year as the Head Women's Softball Coach. Her 2022 campaign led the Jets to a 18-30 overall record with a 9-17 conference record.

Cody White is in his 10th year leading the Bronchos with man overall record of 349-137 with 3 MIAA championships. 

THE JETS
Newman is currently 10-22 , 1-5 in conference this season. Through conference play the Jets have had a tough conference schedule so far facing, at the time, #21 Washburn now ranked #16. The Jets now face No. 4 Central Oklahoma. Through the 6 conference games, the Jets are batting .228 as a team through 158 at bats. The Jets look to snap their four game win streak this weekend against the Bronchos.

SCOUTING THE ENEMIES
No. 4 Central Oklahoma has only dropped 4 games this season, one in conference. In their last conference matchup, Central Oklahoma split with Missouri Western losing the first game 3-4, which snapped their 16 game win streak. UCO took the second game 7-3. As a team they average a .327 batting average with a .989 OPS. Jordyn Pipkin for the Bronchos has a 2.37 ERA and leads pitching with a 9-2 record. Last time out, Central Oklahoma swept Southern Nazarene with a 3-2 win in game 1 and 11-1 win in game 2.

Gianna De Luca-Paape has been a huge piece of the Jets defense. Through 6 conference games, De Luca-Paape has a 1.000 fielding percentage. With 49 chances, she has recorded 49 putouts with zero errors.

IN THE CIRCLE
Jackie Gold leads the Jets in conference in pitching. Gold secured their win over Missouri Western and has an 2.50 ERA through conference. 

ON DECK
Jets will host Southwest Oklahoma State for a double header on April 4th at 2:30 and 4:30 pm. The Jets faced SWOSU earlier this season in their second game of the season and fell short 7-11.
