WICHITA- Head Softball Coach Brittany Henning announced the addition of Trinity Kuntz to her coaching staff on Tuesday afternoon.

Kuntz joins the Jets after completing an outstanding collegiate career at West Texas A&M University. During her final season in 2026, she helped lead the Buffaloes to a Lone Star Conference regular-season championship, South Central Regional title, and South Central Super Regional championship. West Texas A&M advanced to the NCAA Division II Women's College World Series, where the Buffaloes finished among the nation's top four teams.

"Trinity brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm to our program, and I know our players will benefit greatly from her leadership," said Head Coach Brittany Henning. "Most importantly, she shares our vision for building a championship culture centered on relationships, accountability, and excellence."

Individually, Kuntz earned First Team All-Lone Star Conference, NFCA First Team All-Region, and NFCA Third Team All-American honors in 2026.

During her time with the program, Kuntz helped the Buffaloes capture three consecutive Lone Star Conference regular-season championships (2024, 2025, and 2026) and a Lone Star Conference Tournament title in 2024.

"I look forward to building relationships across campus, getting to know the Newman community, and contributing to the success of our students, athletic programs, and university," said Kuntz.

Kuntz graduated from West Texas A&M in the spring of 2026 with a degree in General Business (B.B.A).

Kuntz is a native of Derby, Kansas.
