Last Time Out
- Newman was swept in a doubleheader against Missouri Southern State, falling 4–0 in game one and 6–1 in game two. In the opener, MSSU built a steady lead with multiple RBI hits across the second and third innings before adding a fourth run in the fifth, while Newman's offense struggled to respond despite a lone hit from Laci Dryden. In game two, Missouri Southern again took early control, scoring in the first inning and gradually extending its lead with consistent hitting and capitalizing on errors, including a three-run fifth inning to make it 6–0. Newman avoided the shutout in the seventh when Audry Rumsey scored off a Kaila Kaahu single, but the late effort wasn't enough to overcome the deficit.

- Newman dropped both games of a doubleheader against Pittsburg State, falling 15–0 in game one and 7–3 in game two. In the opener, the Gorillas dominated from the start with multiple home runs and a six-run third inning, building a commanding 12–0 lead before adding three more runs in the fourth to seal the run-rule victory, while Newman was unable to generate any offense. In game two, Pittsburg State again struck first, but Newman briefly tied the game in the second when Hannah Nordby walked in Aspen Peterson; however, the Gorillas responded with consistent scoring, including a two-run homer and a three-run fifth inning to take control at 7–1. The Jets showed late fight in the sixth, with RBI hits from Malie Noda and Kinley Powell cutting the deficit to 7–3, but they could not complete the comeback.
